About Brashley Vineyards

THE STORY OF BRASHLEY

The people, the place, and the journey in between.

Brashley Vineyards is a family and woman-owned winery in the heart of Anderson Valley. What started as a leap of faith has grown into a place where people gather, connect, and enjoy wines that reflect both the land and the hands behind them. Our philosophy is simple: lead with authenticity, craft with care, and create a community that feels like home.

ORIGIN STORY

A Valley that Called Us Home

In 2017, Bram and Ashley Palm left upstate New York for the wild beauty of Mendocino County. Drawn to Anderson Valley’s redwoods and coastal breezes, they put down roots and never looked back.

What began as a plan to grow grapes shifted quickly when they had the opportunity to purchase a tasting room in the valley. From their first vineyard, Hacienda Sequoia, to the warm, welcoming space they’ve created today, Brashley has always been about more than wine.

OUR TEAM

The People Behind Brashley

The people of Brashley blend grit, warmth, and a quiet kind of creativity, working side by side to craft wines that reflect this valley. From time in the vineyard to time at the tasting bar, their shared intention is to make Brashley feel welcoming, genuine, and thoughtfully cared for.

PROPRIETOR

Ashley Palm

Ashley Palm is the heart of Brashley. After a career in business on the East Coast, she came to Anderson Valley with both grit and imagination, determined to build something of her own. Rooted in a long line of entrepreneurs, she pairs that instinct with a lifelong love of art and a natural talent for bringing people together, shaping Brashley into a place that feels welcoming and full of life.

Ashley’s business savvy and strong work ethic show up in every corner of the winery, from the vineyards and cellar to the tasting room and guest experience. For her, Brashley is about more than making wine; it is about building a thoughtful, well-run home for community, where the spirit of the valley can grow for years to come.

WINEMAKER

Ashley Holland

Ashley Holland brings a blend of scientific precision and creative instinct to her winemaking, honed over more than two decades across New Zealand, Australia, Oregon, New York and Sonoma. Recognized with awards for her work, she is especially known for crafting site-expressive Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Now focused on creating wines from the Anderson Valley, she applies her experience to wines that carry the cool edge of the coast, the detail of careful farming, and the quiet strength of the vineyards she works with every day.

PROPRIETOR

Bram Palm

Bram is the steady support behind Ashley’s vision, and together they lead Brashley with a kind of hospitality that feels easy and genuine. You will often spot him at the tasting bar or out in the valley, pouring wines, chatting with guests, and sharing how they traded the East Coast for Anderson Valley.

Chief experience officer

Sean McTiernan

Chef Sean McTiernan brings years of hospitality experience to Brashley, including time in Michelin-starred restaurants before making Anderson Valley home. These days, you will most often find him in the tasting room, talking guests through the wines and how he likes to cook with them, or out by the oven on Pizza Mondays, turning out wood-fired pies that have become a local favorite.

CHIEF happiness OFFICER

Mocha

Mocha, our resident chocolate Labradoodle and Chief Happiness Officer, takes her role seriously. She is usually the first to greet you at the door, tail in motion, checking to see who might be in need of a scratch or a smile. Whether she is stretched out in a patch of sun or making the rounds between tables, Mocha has a way of making the tasting room feel a little more relaxed and a lot more like home.
